About Whole Teacher
Whole Teacher provides virtual coaching services to classroom teachers. Virtual sessions are held to support teachers' mental health and navigation through secondary traumatic stress; giving teachers both an outlet and support in coping tools.

What is ‘Whole Teacher’ about?
Whole teacher is a service that provides teacher-centered support. The main focus being, how can we help teachers feel heard and seen through engagement, uplifting, and empowering.
What will the support sessions include?
Sessions will include a 60 min session with a coach for teachers to vent and express their current obstacles, stressors, and growth. During these sessions coaching on actionable steps to better cope and thrive in their classrooms will be provided.
Will the sessions be 1:1 or group sessions?
Group sessions will take place around common themes teachers show an interest in addressing. This service is teacher centered; supporting their needs will be the target of each session.
Who will this information be shared with?
Statistical data will be shared to promote the success and advocacy of the program. Individual data will not be shared with principals, district employees, other teachers, or outside agencies. All information shared will be held confidential between teacher and coach.
In the interest of supporting teachers’ mental and emotional health, should a teacher express potential harm to themselves or students, coaches are mandated to report this information. .
Will this affect my employment?
No, none of this information will be shared with principals, district employees, other teachers or any other outside agency. This program will not be used as a tool to evaluate teacher performance. This program is solely a support service for teachers.
What will be used to measure the success of this support service?
Teachers will complete a pre and post survey to share their experience and progress as a result of the support service.
What type of feedback will I receive?
Teachers will receive various types of feedback, including but not limited to: coping strategies, supportive resources, constructive feedback, and positive reinforcement.
